Some Fun Facts

When I’m not in session, I’m coordinating chaos at home with my partner, two sons, and our four dogs. I usually have a rotating list of hobbies depending on what life allows—but lately, I’ve been reading, playing Pokémon, and finding quiet moments where I can. I tend to wear all black, love a deep forest green, and believe therapy should feel like a space where you can show up exactly as you are—even if that includes a little mess.

What working with me is like

I take a person-centered, relational approach to therapy, grounded in Gestalt principles and an emphasis on awareness, connection, and present-moment experience. I’m here to help you notice what’s showing up—emotionally, physically, and relationally—and work with it, not against it. I am able to integrate EMDR to support clients in moving through stuck or overwhelming memories, especially when talk therapy alone isn’t cutting it.

Humor is a big part of how I connect with clients—don’t be surprised if I reference a meme, reel, or oddly relevant TV episode mid-session. I believe humor can be both a way to survive hard things and a bridge back to deeper emotions. I create space for both: laughter and what’s underneath it.

Quote

I am the combination of both of these quotes:

"With these spiky cleats anything is possible!" - Spongebob

"The curious paradox is that when I accept myself just as I am, then I can change.” - Carl Rogers

Important about me

While I’ve worked in a variety of clinical settings, what grounds my work most is connection—meeting people as they are, with empathy, curiosity, and care. My focus is on understanding your lived experience, not just your symptoms. I value the power of showing up authentically, sitting with what’s hard, and creating space to explore both pain and possibility. Therapy with me is collaborative, creative, and rooted in the belief that meaningful change starts with being seen and heard.
