Quote

When we speak we are afraid our words will not be heard or welcomed. But when we are silent, we are still afraid. So it is better to speak.

Important about me

I know grief and loss as intrinsic to the perinatal experience and hold astute professional knowledge of the medicalized experiences of perinatal loss, infertility, and medically complex pregnancies and infants. I can support people who have felt unseen or unsupported by friends, family, or other providers in perinatal health events.

I don't look away from how our human experiences are stratified unjustly, including the way systemic harms impact health.

I am deeply focused on helping people feel held, seen, and cared for as they experience transition and navigate newly launched parts of their selfhood about which they feel afraid or uncertain.
