A little more about me

Some fun facts Games, cooking and time with my two dogs. Get to know me A little less

I enjoy board games and video games, cooking and eating, and learning how to care for my body. My two dogs are also an important part of life outside work.

What working with me is like Support, honesty and encouragement to make changes. Explore my approach A little less

I aim to offer a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where we can understand what you have experienced and how you have coped. We may work on practical skills while also making room for the past and what still needs attention. I want to be genuine with you, offer encouragement and help you stay accountable to changes that matter to you.

What matters to me Self-understanding and a life that feels more like your own. Read my story A little less

I earned my master’s in social work at the University of Pittsburgh in 2010. In my work, I value self-compassion, authenticity and the trust that develops in therapy. We can explore what brings you joy, what resonates with your values and how to find your voice when anxiety or depression takes up too much space.

01 / Finding your voice

When anxiety and depression take over

“I enjoy helping others face their fears, find their voice, and discover what they can do in spite of anxiety and depression.”

People often come to me when…

“People often come to me when…” their anxieties, fears, and depression eclipse everything else in their lives. I enjoy helping others face their fears, find their voice, and discover what they can do in spite of anxiety and depression.

02 / Support and accountability

Holding hope together

“I try to be someone that can hold onto hope when others can’t.”

What makes the therapeutic space you create feel different from other spaces in a client’s life?

I want therapy to be a space of support, encouragement, and accountability. I try to be someone that can hold onto hope when others can’t. One of the greatest privileges of doing therapy is the trust that clients place in our relationship. They share things that their friends and family may never know and it’s an honor to help others feel secure in that way.

03 / Living authentically

Finding what resonates with you

“I think living authentically is THE goal of therapy.”

What do authenticity, liberation or living more abundantly mean within your work?

I think living authentically is THE goal of therapy. Finding joy, discovering and loving your whole self, and learning what resonates with you – the real you that you meet when you slow down – that’s healing, recovery, and courage to meet the moment.
